About Me
My name is Laura Harr and I’m what I call an imperfect mother to a toddler boy. I am married and work full-time. There is always a lot going on in our family of three! My family is darn cute- aren’t they?
I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio where I currently reside. I graduated from Wright State University with a B.S. in Business. I primarily focused on Management during my undergraduate program and find that the people aspect of business is much more interesting to me than the actual business itself.
About the Blog
Although the title is “knitting” in a tree, the truth is the blog isn’t necessarily a knitting blog. It’s definitely going to have some knitting features (I’m a beginning knitter), but I’m planning to focus more on some of my other passions- cooking, quick crafts, organization, parenting, and maintaining sanity!
My original idea for the blog came from the school yard taunt- Harry & Sally sitting in a tree- K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Yes, my husband and I can be caught kissing from time to time, but since when have we had time to sit in a tree? For me, the sitting in a tree rhyme brought back some memories of simpler times. My goal is to make my life more resemble these simpler times and hopefully, bring readers along the path as well.
